Journal of Computer and Informatics Innovation Research (JCIIR)

Journal of Computer and Informatics Innovation Research (JCIIR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that publishes high-quality original research articles, review papers, short communications, technical papers, and case studies in the fields of computer science, informatics, information technology, and emerging digital technologies. The journal focuses on advancing scientific knowledge and technological innovation in artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, information systems, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), computer networks, digital transformation, human-computer interaction, computer vision, and other related computing disciplines.

JCIIR aims to provide an international scholarly platform for researchers, academics, professionals, practitioners, and policymakers to disseminate innovative ideas, theoretical developments, empirical findings, and technological applications that contribute to the advancement of computing and informatics in academia, industry, government, and society.


Instructions for Authors

Articles submitted to JCIIR must be original manuscripts in the fields of computer science, informatics, information technology, artificial intelligence, software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, computer engineering, and related disciplines. Manuscripts must not have been published previously and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Abstracts must be written in English with a maximum length of 250 words. The abstract should briefly describe the research background, objectives, methodology, major findings, and conclusions.

Each manuscript must include 3–5 keywords representing the primary concepts of the study.

The submitted article must be an original work and free from plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and unethical publication practices. Authors may be requested to submit a statement of originality.

The maximum similarity index accepted by JCIIR is 25%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned for revision or rejected.

Articles must be written in English using Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx, or .rtf). Manuscripts should use:

  • Times New Roman
  • 12 pt
  • Single spacing
  • A4 paper size
  • Approximately 10–15 pages

Tables, algorithms, graphs, flowcharts, UML diagrams, and figures must be editable whenever possible and should not be submitted as low-resolution images.

All manuscripts must follow the official JCIIR Manuscript Template.

Every submission undergoes a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based on reviewers' recommendations and scientific merit.

References should be managed using Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or equivalent software and formatted according to APA 7th Edition.

Each manuscript should include at least 30 references, with a minimum of 70% derived from peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last 10 years.


Systematic Articles

Title

The title should be concise, specific, informative, and able to reflect the main subject of the article. The title should consist of approximately 12–17 words and must be written in English. The title is placed in the center of the page using Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, and written in title case.

Author Name and Affiliation

The author’s name must be written without academic degrees. Author names should be followed by institutional affiliations, including the name of institution, address, postal code, and country. The corresponding author’s email address must be clearly stated.

The author’s name is placed below the article title using Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold. Author affiliations should use superscript numbers without brackets.

Abstract

The abstract must be written in English and should not exceed 250 words. It should briefly describe the background, research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract must be written as one paragraph and should clearly represent the content of the manuscript.

Keywords

Keywords should consist of 3–5 words or phrases that reflect the core concepts of the article. Keywords must be specific, informative, and relevant to the topic of the manuscript.

Introduction

The introduction should explain the background of the study, research problems, research context, literature review, research gap, novelty, and research objectives. The introduction should be presented in integrated paragraphs and supported by relevant and recent references.

Research Method

The research method section should clearly describe the research design, research approach, population and sample, data sources, time and place of research, data collection techniques, research instruments, variables or research framework, and data analysis techniques. For qualitative research, authors should explain the research setting, participants, data collection procedures, and data analysis approach. For quantitative research, authors should explain sampling techniques, measurement instruments, validity and reliability testing, and statistical analysis methods.

Results and Discussion

The results and discussion section should present research findings clearly and systematically. Results may be supported by tables, graphs, figures, charts, or statistical outputs. Tables, graphs, and charts must be editable and should not be displayed in JPG format.

The discussion should provide analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of the research findings. Authors should relate the findings to relevant theories, previous studies, and practical implications in the fields of economics, business, accounting, management, and sustainability.

Conclusion

The conclusion should present a concise summary of the research findings as answers to the research questions or objectives. The conclusion should also include the theoretical contribution, practical implications, limitations of the study, and recommendations for future research. The conclusion must be written in paragraph form.

References

The reference list must follow APA Style and include only sources cited in the manuscript. References should mainly consist of primary sources, such as national and international journal articles, proceedings, research reports, books, and official documents. At least 70% of references should come from journal articles published within the last 10 years.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
