IDENTIFICATION OF LEARNING DIFFICULTIES OF GRADE XI TBSM STUDENTS IN THE MOTORCYCLE CHASSIS SUBJECT AT SMKN 4 KOTA SERANG
Abstract
The process of teaching and educating a person or group of people until they become adults is called education. Education has three significant effects. First, society experiences changes in attitudes and behavior; second, society becomes more mature in its actions and attitudes; and third, this maturation process is achieved through education and training. An important step in evaluating how students understand lessons is to assess learning outcomes. The main goal is to find out how much students understand and master the concepts taught. Vocational school students experience learning difficulties due to many very specific factors related to this vocational education pathway. This research adopts a quantitative method approach with descriptive research type. The results show how conventional models carry out the learning process. The percentage of students who use the demonstration method is 43%, lecture is 41%, discussion is 10%, and question and answer is 6%, indicating that students play a very small role in the learning process. .By distributing questionnaires to all class IX TBSM students. The highest value that influences students' difficulty in understanding is teaching resources/materials. Learning resource factors (58%), learning models (22%), and learning materials (20%) are the causes of students' difficulties in understanding. The research results show that learning resources are the most dominant component that influences student learning achievement.
